Privacy policy

HandiPlace respects your privacy. We show no ads, use no advertising trackers and never sell any data. This page describes the data we process and your rights.

Data we process

  • Email address: used only to sign you in (one-time code). No newsletter, no marketing email.
  • GPS location: used on your device to show nearby spaces. It is sent to the server only when you report or fix a space (to verify you are on-site, within 100 m).
  • Contributions: confirmations, reports and correction proposals you make.
  • IP address: kept temporarily to prevent abuse (anti-spam), then deleted.

What we do not do

  • No advertising, no advertising cookies.
  • No third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Meta, etc.).
  • No sale or commercial sharing of your data.

Your rights

Under Swiss law (FADP) and the GDPR, you may access, correct or delete your data. Write to us at contact@handiplace.app.

Account and data deletion

You can delete your account directly in the app: Settings → Account → Delete my account. Deletion erases your email address and irreversibly anonymises your contributions. You may also request it by email at contact@handiplace.app; we process requests within 30 days.
